I am using UM7 and trying to change the default ‘Raw Accel Broadcast Rate’ from 20Hz to 100Hz using the CHR Serial Interface v3.1.1. The register seems written successfully and Read Configuration Settings reads the correct 100Hz value. However, when I save data into .csv file, the timestamp shows sample interval is around 62ms no matter what the raw Accel Broadcast rate is set to. Is it a limitation of the logging function? -Thanks.
The Serial Interface data graphs currently log data at a fixed rate of ~ 20 Hz regardless of how fast data is being transmitted. If you want data at a higher rate, you can use the “Log” tab in the main app dialog. That logs all packets received over the serial port as they arrive. The only downside is that we don’t currently have a way to retrieve logged data from the packets, so you’d need to write your own parser to pull it out.
